Taiohi Tū

 

Taiohi Tū means – standing up and doing what is right for our Tinana.

Taiohi Tū is a fitness-based programme that is currently being run in and out of schools. Both young and old people have benefitted from this programme so far, all attendees coming from different backgrounds with different abilities and different goals.

Programme Includes:

• Taonga Taakaro (traditional Māori games)
• High Intensity Interval Training (box fit, cross fit, hill workouts and sprint training)

This is all delivered by experienced youth worker and professional athlete, Vicki Campbell.

Taiohi Tū was introduced to five schools in the last year and was showcased in the Pegasus Post. (see below for article)
