Te Pihi Ora is an after-school mentoring programme for Year 7 & 8 students, to support young people into transitioning into High School, which tends to be a challenging and scary time for any young person. Each programme is fitted for 6-10 young people and runs for a 12-month term, where they will get the opportunity to grow, develop leadership and team skills in a safe and whānau based environment.
Usually the young people will be picked up just after school on a decided day, where they will be taken to wherever the programme will be run for the session. After the session is over, the young people will be dropped off home between 4.30pm to 5pm.
TE PIHI ORA IS DELIVERED BY EXPERIENCED, TRAINED & QUALIFIED YOUTH WORKERS
