Te Ora Hou
Ōtautahi.

Since 1983, Te Ora Hou Ōtautahi has been serving urban rangatahi and whānau through kaupapa Māori, relationship-based support. Our focus is on creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered in their journey toward rangatiratanga.

We’re more than a service provider, we’re committed to doing what truly makes a difference.

Our mahi is grounded in Te Mauri o Te Ora Hou, the values that guide how we work, and shaped by TOHATOHA, our way of sharing power, building trust, and uplifting our hapori.

Te Ora Hou Aotearoa is a network of centres in Whangārei, Te Tairāwhiti, Whanganui, Pōneke, and Ōtautahi. Together, we empower rangatahi, whānau, and hapori through community-led, culturally grounded experiences that foster growth, connection, and leadership.

Our kaimahi at Te Ora Hou are our greatest asset. We are blessed to have a team of people with diverse skills, strengths and experiences who have a huge amount of experience in Indigenous youth and whānau development. For these guys it is not just a job but a passion.

A small donation can help rangatahi attend a camp, get glasses, or afford a school uniform. With just a few clicks, you can make an impact and support those who need it most.
